I he...I'm so sorry that Ed's dad isn't doing well. I hear you when you speak of the parent calling and "wanting to go home." My mother did the same, and the siblings were so divided that we had to go to court and have a judge make the decision. (He ruled for assisted living.) My mother "smacked" me afterwards (not hard) in the courtroom because I was one of the "realists" who voted for assisted living.
