The soap saga

Ed and I agree on most things. We travel well together, have the same family values, usually pick out the same home decorating items, like the same movies (except for anything Rambo which I refuse to watch) etc. But there is one area where we are definitely in conflict. That would be foamy soap. I love the stuff – Ed hates it. Says it doesn’t feel like soap. Says soap should feel slick. Says his hands don’t feel as clean when he uses it. Can’t seem to manage the pump – the foam often misses his hand and winds up in the sink. This is the new foamy soap dispenser that we now have in our kitchen. Isn’t it adorable? How can you hate such a thing? And it has such a nice fragrance.

However, Ed grumbles. So he now uses the little honey bear full of dish soap to wash his hands. This little bear came with him into our relationship and has had a place of honor by the kitchen sink for the past 9 years. Little bear has developed a bit of arrogance now that the “man” of the house prefers him to Miss Foamy. He’ll get over it.

I love the little honey bear that Ed turned into a soap dispenser. I have to agree with you - foam soap is the way to go. I even have some Germ-X foam hand sanitizer on my desk at work.

(cracking up at the honey bear of soap)

I'm a big fan of the foaming soap myself. The regular soap feels too slimy and icky to me.
