Note to self....

When you're retired and want to go to the mall in the middle of the afternoon, and your daughter called you in the morning from home because this is a teacher planning day and the kids don't have school, assume the other kids in the town also don't have school and DON'T GO TO THE MALL! There will be many, many kids there - including tons of teenagers with nothing else to do.

And you'll hear conversations like this:

Cute little old lady: I need a new sweater

Cure little old man grabbing the first sweater he sees: Here, buy this one.

CLOL: No, I don't like that one

CLOM: It's nice. Look, it's stretchy (as he pulls on it from every angle).

CLOL: No, I don't like the color

CLOM (getting much louder now): Whaddya mean you don't like the color, it's a nice color. Buy the sweater so we can go home!

CLOL: I said NO!

Cute little old lady one, cute little old man zero. They shuffled away with him behind her grumbling.
