A grandmother is a mother who has a second chance

Hi, from Portugal

Today we started week two of our trip to Portugal. The first week was spent on the island of Madeira where Ed's grandparents were born. Now we're in the southern part of Portugal (back on the mainland).

Internet access has sucked big time. Only limited access on the main floor of the places we've been staying. And you have to wade through all the instructions in Portuguese to get to the English version and be able to sign in! That's interesting. Plus the keyboard is just a bit different so when I try to type caps, I often get <. And the apostrophe and hyphen are reversed so thatºs really fun. Oh, yes, and the @ thingy needs a whole strange set of keys.

We've been eating seafood like all fish were soon to be extinct. And it's been wonderful. Both of our hotels have been right on the water so we can sleep while listening to the ocean. That's not a bad thing!

Well, my time on this computer is almost up so bye, bye for now. Just wanted to say hit.
