It's a bug's life my foot!

I'm totally grossed out right now. Ed just came home. I was sitting at the computer. He had a weird smile on his face, didn't say anything, but motioned for me to follow him out to the garage. Then he told me to open the freezer (we have a spare refrigerator in the garage). I thought he bought something cool and put it in there.

Opened the door. Didn't see anything special. I looked at him and he said, "Look closer." I did. And saw a heap of ants IN THE FREEZER!!! That's a first for me. Of course, most of them were dead. Or at least appeared dead - maybe they were just in a cryogenic state. Who knows. I ran to the sink, wet a paper towel, and hustled back to the freezer to begin wiping them up. A few were still moving, but I stopped them in their tracks. It took three paper towels but I managed to rid the freezer of all of them. Ed thought the whole thing was pretty funny.

After the clean up job, I got the can of ant killer and sprayed around the floor by the refrigerator. No, I didn't spray inside - I wasn't that crazy. I know many people don't like to kill ants - but I'm not one of them. They have my whole yard to play in (and, believe me, they do) - they can leave my house and my freezer alone.

The end.
