Bozo

While we were in Seattle last weekend I read that Bozo the Clown died. Now, frankly, clowns scare the hell out of me (thank you Stephen King and Poltergeist). But it's always sad when one dies. Until you read the headline "Send us your Bozo stories". That cracked me up. I mean, I've known a lot of bozos (bozoes??) in my time so I guess I could send some stories.

Also, I couldn't help but remember the Dick Van Dyke episode when Chuckles the Clown died. One of their funniest shows. That's when I decided that I want a comedy funeral - nothing sad. Leave 'em laughing. And I've fore-warned Ed and my kids that if they don't comply with my wishes, I WILL come back and haunt them! And they know I will!

Sandi, its so funny that being called a bozo is a bad thing and it was all started by a clown. I remember bozo the clown vaguely. And I am with you on the poltergeist thing. Clowns are evil. They try to make them funny but they are so not funny...now I think they are all a little perverted too. When a kid sees a dude in a clown costume run fast and run far! :)N
