The tree

Got an interesting note in the mail yesterday. AT & T wants to put a tower in our area for wireless telecomunications. It will be less than a mile from our house. Apparently these towers are not considered esthetically pleasing to the eye, so the note provides the comforting language "The facility will consist of a 64 foot tower disguised as a pine tree with seven radio cabinets at the base". Now, that will be something to see. A fake giant pine tree, in a parking lot behind a church, with cabinets in the base. Won't the neighborhood birds be in for a shock!

Gee, and can the community decorate it with lights and ornaments during the holiday season? Maybe the church can use it as a backdrop for a nativity scene! :-)

I'm really curious as to what this is going to look like when it's done.
