If it's Tuesday, we must be - where??

Late yesterday afternoon Ed and I had a special ceremony. It was the Ceremonial Putting Away of the Suitcases. Followed by roasted chicken and a nice pinot.

Since September 23rd we have spent 5 days in Chicago, 4 days in Albuquerque, 2 days at a meeting north of us, and 5 days in Long Beach/Anaheim. When it gets to the point where you wake up in the morning and can't remember where you are, you know it's time to be homebound for awhile.

Three of these trips were built around conferences. In Chicago we added a couple of days to spend with my family. And in Long Beach we added a couple of days to go to Disneyland. So all the trips were fun. But, holy cow. We have sworn to never do this again.

I have some fun stories and photos from the trips which I'll be sharing soon (I hope). And I can't even tell you how good it feels to get back to our own bed, our own shower, our desks and computers, and our own cars.

Of course, we also did our part in combating terrorism by stuffing all our liquid toiletries into that little quart-sized Zip-Loc baggie. No renegade eye drops here!

So, welcome home to us!

Welcome home! It sounds like a lot of fun but very exhausting.

Sandi, how patriotic of you to help curb terrorism by following the plastic baggie rules at the airport!!! Man, I tell ya...that is a complete pain in the grass! However, pyscho terrorist find the simplest ways to stick it to us on airplanes, so I must say that its not all for nothing, huh?

Yep, there's no place like home. (clicking red shoes together)
